Restenosis Rate and Reinterventions after Aortic Arch Repair in Infants
نویسندگان
چکیده
The aim. This study aims to determine the reintervention rate in infantsundergoing aortic arch repair and analyze risk factors evaluate results of reinterventions.
Materials methods. retrospective examines 445 infants with hypoplasia who under-went reconstruction between 2011 2019. included only patients two-ventricle physiology subsequent repair. Techniques for primary extended end-to-end anastomosis (n = 348), end-to-side 611), autologous pericardial patch 16).
Results. overall mortality entire group was 3.3 %. Follow-up period ranged from 1 month 9.4 years (mean 2.8 ± 2.5 years). Restenosis at site identiϐied 47 (10.5 %) patients. Of these, 12 underwent surgical arch, 27 balloon angioplasty, 8 both methods were used. Freedom 89.4 % 1-year follow-up 87.5 4-year follow-up. most determining factorsfor restenosis related hypoplastic proximal body weight less than kg.
Conclusions. Surgical treatment newborns is effective shows good immediate long-term results. Anatomical correction reobstruction level safe endovacular low incidence repeated interventions. Identified recurrent interventions help improve under year age.

Endovascular aortic arch repair after aortic arch de-branching.
PURPOSE Conventional surgical therapy of aortic arch aneurysms consists of aortic arch replacement requiring cardiopulmonary bypass and deep hypothermic circulatory arrest. This method is associated with significant morbidity and mortality, mainly due to neurologic complications and the sequelae of deep hypothermic circulatory arrest. Thus, it makes sense to work on developing less invasive sur...

OBJECTIVE To investigate the incidence of clinical problems related to a bicuspid valve (aortic stenosis and regurgitation) and the incidence of ascending aorta and aortic arch pathology in combination with coarctation repair. PATIENTS 124 adult patients after surgical correction of aortic coarctation were studied. The incidence of aortic valve, ascending aorta, and aortic arch pathology was ...
متن کاملEndovascular Aortic Arch Repair
Today, open surgery is considered the gold standard in treating the ascending aorta and the aortic arch. However, conventional surgical techniques for managing the aortic arch are invasive and frequently associated with a significant systemic inflammatory response syndrome and related complications. Therefore, patients with multiple comorbidities are often classified as high risk and are denied...
متن کاملUse of baseline factors to predict complications and reinterventions after endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm.
BACKGROUND It is uncertain which baseline factors are associated with graft-related complications and reinterventions after endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) in patients with a large abdominal aortic aneurysm. METHODS Patients randomized to elective EVAR in EVAR Trial 1 or 2 were followed for serious graft-related complications (type 2 endoleaks excluded) and reinterventions. Cox regression...
متن کاملOutcome after extended arch repair for aortic coarctation.
OBJECTIVES To assess survival and long term arch patency rates in a consecutive group of children after extended arch repair for coarctation of the aorta. METHODS Review of 191 consecutive children (154 (81%) under 1 year of age) operated on between 1990 and 2002 by a single surgeon using extended arch reconstructive techniques. For assessment of survival patients were divided into three grou...
